Nat is a Naval Architect at Solis Marine Engineering Ltd, the engineering division of Solis Marine group, providing engineering, design and analysis services to the offshore, shipping and renewables industries.

After graduating from Ship Science (Yacht and Small Craft)at Southampton University,

Nat joined Inyanga Maritime and worked on a range of scopes from short term analysis packages, offshore operations through to multiyear design and manufacture packages.

The majority of Nat’s work at Inyanga was the preparation and completion of complex offshore operations. These operations included the commissioning of Minesto’s

Dragon 12 tidal kite in the Faroe Islands, the replacement of the export cable on Sabella’s D10 tidal turbine in the Fromveur passage and the upgrade of the subsea infrastructure at the SEM - REV test site in the Bay of Biscay.

With Solis Marine Engineering, Nat’s main focus is on offshore renewables building on his previous experience working in these types of operations in his previous roles. His key areas of experience are dynamic analysis of complex structures, high level planning and analysis to implementation of offshore operations, structural analysis, vessel hydrodynamics and project management.
