He also assisted in preparing expert reports for maritime disputes.

Andrew brings significant experience from his role as Superintendent at Songa Shipmanagement, where he acted as the Owner's technical representative, overseeing the management of 16 container vessels reporting directly to the Board of Directors. During his tenure, he also served as technical superintendent for seven geared container vessels, four oil and chemical tankers, and five Kamsarmax and Cape-sized bulk carriers. His responsibilities encompassed vessel condition inspections, budget preparation for repairs, upgrades and modifications, and attending numerous planned and unscheduled dockings, as well as repairs across Asia and Europe. Andrew led various technical projects, including energy efficiency initiatives, ballast water treatment system installations, and exhaust gas scrubber implementations.

Prior to this, Andrew held senior positions at Lomar Shipping, where he was Fleet Manager, responsible for managing a fleet of 26 container vessels up to 6,000 TEU, and at Maersk Line, where he advanced from Fleet Superintendent to Senior Fleet Superintendent and Deputy Fleet Group Manager. In these roles, he managed the technical operations of Post-Panamax container vessels and assisted with fleet oversight responsibilities.

Andrew's maritime career began at sea with P&O Containers and P&O Nedlloyd, where he progressed through the engineering ranks from Fourth Engineer to Chief Engineer over 17 years. His seagoing experience encompasses container vessels of various sizes, including Panamax and Post-Panamax vessels, with extensive hands-on experience in the operation and maintenance of slow and medium speed diesel engines, high voltage systems, onboard cranes, along with all associated support systems. This comprehensive seagoing background provides him with deep practical knowledge of marine engineering systems and operations.
